Country Music in Rural Areas
These days, you can hear different types of music. Among the most common genres of music being played at present are pop, rock, jazz, classical music and country music.
Country music, in particular, is a music genre best described as a blend of popular musical forms originally found in the southern United States and the Appalachian Mountains. Basically, it has roots in traditional folk music, gospel music, old-time music and Celtic music. This genre has been said to evolve rapidly during the 1920s. One can possibly hear country music in rural areas, especially in places with an agricultural setting. Whenever you hear country music, some of the things that will come to your mind may include an old folk playing a banjo, countryside people, farm animals and everything that has to do with agriculture.
